Whenever we try to convince people of the benefits of multicultural activities, we come across a very important ability that most people on the postmodern world are looking to develop: leadership.
It may seem strange at first, but there's a very clear explanation to that: today's leaders have to be extremely flexible to deal with globalized situations, identifying growth opportunities in new and unfamiliar places and cultures [1].
It makes sense, therefore, that the number of people who speak foreign languages and study abroad are increasing rapidly. It represents an important compatitive advantage, once they start looking for a job.
The GCT program was conceived to give people that kind of academic experience, without rejecting the touristic part, which we consider is also important for the understanting of a different culture.
So, why GCT?
Well, because it is a great opportunity to increase one's understanding of the world and become better qualified professionally, while having a great time and making a lot of new friends, which you may carry for the rest of your life.
