GCT Mainz

This post is for you to have a taste of what's coming.

These are some pictures from the last edition of GCT, that happened with the University of Mainz, in Germany.

There, 20 Brazilian Students had a great time discovering the traces of German culture. 

By the pictures you can see how diverse the programme is. The group had many different activities, such as a company visit at Merck(they own 100% of the LCD market share globaly), Fraport(they run the Frankfurt Airport), The European Central Bank, The University, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Felsberg & Co., and many other unique activities.


Unfortunately, you can't see Merck nor some other companies on the pictures above because most of them have strict policies regarding picture taking and media. That is also a reason for applying. There are things you can only taste and see by participating. 


We're sure that the opportunity of taking part on GCT-Istanbul is unique. Imagine all the cultural differences you'll face during the 20 days and what you'll learn with that about your own culture.


I'm not organizing nor participating this time, I did it in Germany, but now I can only tell you, applicant, that the GCT experience is something you shouldn't let pass by.

This blog has been created for the Global Cultural Transfer project, 2011 edition. This year, the partnership is between FGV EAESP, in Brazil, and one of its new partner schools, Koç University, in Turkey.
